My Journey
I officially started my photography journey second shooting weddings! As a second shooter, It was my job to focus on the creative angles and in between moments during the day. I fell in love with the little moments I was able to capture during weddings - even if they weren't “Traditional” photos or “perfect”. I learned so much through these experiences, and really gained the confidence to eventually start shooting weddings on my own. I found my own style, attracted my own clients, and have since started taking on about 10 weddings each year!

The Experience
One thing I’ve learned since I started photographing weddings, is that every couple + wedding is SO unique. It's extremely important to me that I take the time to chat with all potential clients ( whether it’s over the phone or at one of my favorite local coffee shops ) to discuss your day and your vision, and make sure we are a good fit. Your wedding vendors literally create the overall vibe for your wedding day, and it's important that any potential clients get a feel for my approach and style before booking!
After we’ve chatted and gone through all the details, I give my couples the time they need to chat about logistics. Once you’ve decided to book, we will secure your date + start planning your complimentary engagement session! My couples have my help and guidance throughout their entire wedding planning process - I typically like to meet with couples again anywhere from 1-2 months before the big day to finalize a timeline, and go over any changes since our initial meeting. Plus, I find that seeing me in person a few times before the wedding helps my couples feel more confident in me and my services!

I unfortunately do not offer the option for a second shooter. However, I will have an assistant with me on your wedding day that will not only be helping me throughout the day, but also helping my couples, their bridal party, and family members with truly anything and everything. I've found that having an extra set of hands is more helpful to me than having another photographer who may not exactly match my shooting style

Romantic, Natural, Creative yet Timeless, Effortless.. These are a few words that come to mind when describing my style! I would describe my photos as slightly moody with pops of brightness. I try to prompt more than I pose, therefore many of my photos have motion and an added level of creativity to them.

No! I do not use photoshop - This includes face swapping, editing people in/out, changing backgrounds, etc. Staying away from Photoshop helps my photos keep their authentic and natural feel. However, I will edit away small distractions such as blemishes!

Absolutely! So far I’ve been to California, Maine, Nantucket and South Carolina (as well as lots of fun places in Upstate NY!) However, I’m available to travel anywhere! Locations outside of the Adirondack region will have an additional travel fee.

For weddings - Couples can expect their galleries to be delivered between 8-10 weeks after their big day. Again, this will vary depending on time of year!

This will vary depending on length of wedding coverage! My wedding couples typically receive about 100 photos per hour of coverage.

Love Story
Court took the time to really make sure our wedding day was special for us. She always asked if there were certain photos we wanted and made sure the photos and poses etc. felt like us. I had some inspiration for how we wanted our engagement photos and wedding photos to look and she focused on staying true to our vision and nailed it. I was so surprised at how quickly she was able to get us the photos and the amount of photos we got for both the engagement shoot and wedding! You can tell she loves her work and wants to have the end results to you as soon as possible. She treated us like we were close friends and made the experience super personal which made the whole wedding photography process (which can be super stressful) feel seamless and effortless. The day of the wedding too, if we wanted anything specific or had different ideas for photos she made sure we got all the photos we wanted. She was open to all our ideas and gave us her ideas which helped us be more comfortable and enjoy the process even more. She coordinated great with all our vendors and was on top of the schedule at all times. Also huge shoutout to her assistant Lynsey who was such a great helping hand and support person the whole day. We highly recommend Courtney for weddings or any photos really! She knows how to make you feel so good about yourself and the photos turned out more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. We are so grateful she was there to capture the most amazing day of our lives!
